GARFIELD — Marie Edwards Reynolds Ross, 96, of Garfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 1, 2015. She passed away at her home. Marie was born March 18, 1919, in Somerset, Ky., to Dr. Hampton Worthington Edwards and Sarah Elizabeth Hines.

She was the sixth of six children and was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; two sisters, two nieces; her first husband, of forty-eight years, Leon Reynolds of Rogers and her second husband of fifteen years Herbert Ross of Garfield.

Marie loved the Lord. She read her bible daily, spent time in prayer, read numerous Christian books and lots of Christian literature. She loved singing the old hymns and loved her church family. She spent a lifetime living as an example of what a Christian should be.

Marie loved her family. She loved family gatherings, holidays and birthdays. She enjoyed her grandchildren and their families and all of their many activities. Her presence will be deeply missed by all.
