Louise Knight was born in Van Buren, Arkanss March 1, 1914 to Pete and Julia Knox. She attended Douglas School in Van Buren. She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Morrilton, Arkansas. She married Norman Knight in August 1938. In 1938 she also joined New Hope Baptist Church where she remained until her death. She was a member of the Phyllis Wheatly Federated Club, a member of the Queen Esther Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Prince Hall Affiliation State of Arkansas. She is the past Loyal Ruler of C.J. Jamison Assembly order of the Golden Circle. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was retired from the Arcade Furniture Store, where she had worked for 30 years.
