May 31, 1892 - June 9, 1970
Funeral service for Alroy Collier, 78 years old of 1915 North 14th Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas, was held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of Christ of which he was a member. Mr. Nash, an elder in the church, officiated. Burial was in Washington cemetery was directed by Our Funeral Home.
Mr. Collier, who died Tuesday, June 9, 1970 in a local nursing home,was born in Hanesville, Louisiana.
Survivors are his wife, Lillie Collier; two sons, Jimmy of Maywood,Illinois, and Ray of Van Buren; five daughters, Mrs. Vashti Brown and Mrs. Doris Jackson both of Los Angeles,California, Mrs. Alvena Williams of Oakland, California, Mrs. Johnnie Mae Wilson of Chicago, Illinois; and several grandchildren.
