Anita Sue Creech, 65, of Rogers, Ark., died March 7, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark.
She was born July 29, 1942, in San Fernando, Calif., to Carl Little and Elsie Compton Little. She graduated from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Ark. She was a journalist for The Morning News. She had received multiple awards from the Associated Press, state organizations and Don Rey Media. She enjoyed reading, movies, collecting jewelry and taking care of her cats.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Jack Walter French and Donald Creech; and a brother. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Andrew French and Jamie French of Decatur, Ark.; a daughter, Mary French of New York City, N.Y.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary Little and Julie Little of Decatur and Christopher Little and Jeannine Little of Colorado; and two grandchildren.
Private burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, Ark. Arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home
of Rogers.
