Jessie Frances Gray Damon, 86, of Nashville, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 in her home. She was born May 10, 1934 in Washington, Arkansas to Thomas Gray and Cora May Griffin Gray.
She was a devoted wife and mother that dearly loved her family and cherished them above all else.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George E. Damon Sr.; sons, Ricky Lee and Gary Ray Damon; sisters, Margie Weems, Evelyn Thompson, and Patsy Ward; brothers, Tommy, Kenneth, Herschel, and Jimmy Gray; and grandsons, Haze Damon, and Shane Damon.
Those left to cherish her memory include one son, George "Eddie" Damon Jr. of Nashville; two daughters, Debra Hart of Daisy and Vickie Lewis of Glenwood; three brothers, Raymond and wife Betty Gray, Billy and wife Sue Gray, Bobby and wife Marilyn Gray; eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
There will be a graveside service at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope, AR with Jeff and Pam Smith officiating under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
