Charlotte Renee Hale, 68, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2024, at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. Renee was born the youngest of three children on July 25, 1955, to Lloyd and Loweta Turney in Fort Worth, Texas. After graduating from Arlington High School in 1973, she attended the University of Texas-Arlington, where, as a freshman, she met Truman Hale. The two were married on July 19, 1975, at Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington.

Renee Hale was preceded in death by her parents, Loweta Turney of Conway, Arkansas, and Lloyd and Ida Turney of Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her husband of more than 48 years, Truman Hale of Conway, her three children, Corey Hale (Faith) of Lewisville, Texas, Graham Hale (Leslie) of Bullard, Texas, and Casey Hale (David Spence) of Marshall, Texas, her five grandchildren: Ava Grace Hale, Edy Rose Hale, and Joy Tatum Hale of Bullard, Texas, and Charles Truman Hale and Thomas Ward Hale of Lewisville, Texas; her sister Cherie Haynes and her husband Wayne of Hot Springs Village, her brother David Turney and his wife Ann of Conway, and her sisters-in-law Ann and Dorothy Hale of Arlington, Texas along with beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service for Renee will be held at Central Baptist Church in Conway on February 1 at 10 AM.
