Eithel Evans, 92, of Fayetteville died Wednesday in Fayetteville. She was born Oct. 15, 1910, in Hazel Valley to Mortin and Nettie Hayre Shackelford.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, Edward Evans of Kingwood, Texas, Everett Evans of Fayetteville and Herman O. Evans of Cave Springs; three daughters, Mamie Osburn of Kansas City, Mo., and Irene Serfass and Genevie Wilkirson, both of Fayetteville; two sisters, Cleo Dickerson of Jackson, Miss., and Myrtle Smith of Broken Arrow, Okla.; one brother, Lloyd Shackelford of Fayetteville; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Paul Dennis officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Fayetteville.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
