Charlene Ross Wallace, 83 of Greenbrier went to her heavenly home on January 13, 2024. She was born on December 11, 1940 in Shirley, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Hubert Ross and Phebia Bradford Cariker. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Lee Wallace, sister-in-law, Delores Privitt and her childhood sweetheart of 65 years Joe Wallace.

She is survived by her sons, Joey (Amber) Wallace, David (Susie) Wallace, grandchildren, Adam (Lindsay) Wallace, Clint (Payton) Wallace, Lane (Ashley) Wallace, Whitney (Glenn) Stodart, great grandchildren, Tripp, Emma, Ren and West Wallace and Ross Stodart, one brother, Don Privitt, sister-in-law, Margaret Wallace and several nieces and nephews.

She was saved on March 19, 1963. She was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for several years. She loved her church family and serving the Lord.

She was a hairdresser for over 40 years. She loved her clients who became like family over the years.
She was proud to be from Shirley and loved going to the Shirley Homecoming each year. She loved her Shirley childhood friends and still kept in touch with them.
She loved to shop but loved her grandchildren most of all. Everyone looked forward to lunch on Sundays at Nanas.

Special thanks to the staff at Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab for taking such great care of her. She loved each and every one of you.

Visitation will be held at Wilcox Family Funeral Home on Thursday, January 18th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. A private burial will be held at a later date.
