Gerald "Jerry" "Bobo" Andrew Boyer, 78 of Wooster, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, surrounded by family, on May 31, 2023. He was born on July 11, 1944 in Granite City, Illinois to the late Fred and Helen Boyer.
Preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Helen Boyer; loving wife of 40 years, Sandra Kay Pence Boyer; and brother, Donald Boyer.
Jerry was an Air Force Veteran. He is retired after a long career in the Electrical Energy and Nuclear Power Inspection Industry. He was well known as an active, energetic, and willing volunteer in the Faulkner County Community and Civic projects. Jerry loved his family, his community, and most importantly, his God. He spent a lot of time in the outdoors, hiking and taking photographs.
He is the current Faulkner County Justice of the Peace, representing District 12. He also served on Faulkner County's Budget & Finance Committee and the Courts & Public Safety Committee. He was a member of Conway Noon Lions Club, Faulkner County Historical Society, and the past chairman of the Faulkner County Republican Committee. Jerry was a Free Mason of the Sikeston Lodge No. 310 AF & AM.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Andria Otto and husband Bryant of Conway; grandchildren, Spencer Andrew Russaw of Conway, Haylee Elizabeth White and husband Grant of Guy, Hunter Patrick Russaw of Conway; great grandchildren, Olivia Kay White and soon to be Mitchell Henry White of Guy; siblings, D'Nita Barnes and husband Dennis of Cartersville, GA, Roy Boyer and wife Teresa of Glen Carbon, IL; sister-in-law, Lynnette Kozer and husband John Jay of Granite City; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 2:00pm on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Wooster First Baptist Church with burial following to Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Brother Freddie Mark Wilcox and Brother Roy Boyer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Special Team on the Prevention of Domestic Violence (Stop DV), Conway Noon Lions Club, or Debra Robinson Senior Center in Greenbrier.
Pallbearers are Bryant Otto, Spencer Russaw, Grant White, Hunter Russaw, Randy Higgins, and Darren Frost.
Honorary pallbearers are Scott Freyaldenhoven, Roy Boyer, Brooks Boyer, Dennis Barnes, John Jay Kozer, Donny Boyer, Bryan Boyer, and Kyle Kozer.
