ROGERS — Marjorie Annette Joyce, 88, of Rogers, Ark., died Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Innisfree Nursing Center in Rogers. She was born July 24, 1923, in Hammond, Ind., to Henry F. Boyer and Anna W. Nittie Boyer.

She was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers for many years and past president of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She also established the Monday night fellowship groups. She was a wonderful homemaker and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Joyce, Oct. 1, 2006.

Marjorie is survived by one brother-in-law, James Roberts, one sister-in-law, Joanne Roberts, both of St. Simons Island, Ga.; niece, Helen Sweigert of Rogers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers, with the Rev. Gordon Besel officiating.

A memorial service is being planned at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and will be announced at a later date.
