Ms. Nell Salle Tatum of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Saturday, August 30, 2008, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Ms. Tatum was a retired Chief Deputy with Sebastian county Clerk's Office and was a at one time, Sebastian County Tax Collector. She was also a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Ft. Smith, Arkansas.
Ms. Tatum was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband: Preston Tatum.
She is survived by a son: Jack Salle, of Van Buren, Arkansas; a step0son: Phil Tatum of Montgomery, Texas; a brother: Claude Groves, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; 4 wonderful grandchildren: Tara Clifford, of Greenwood, Arkansas, Joshua Sallee, also of Greenwood, Arkansas, Jennifer Garcia, of Van Buren, Arkansas, and Tyler Wilson, also of Van Buren, Arkansas; 6 precious great-grandchildren: Lexie, Gracey, Sadie, Christopher, Julian, and Evan; and many dear friends.
