Joyce Vaughan Shook Roberson, 75, of Fort Smith, AR died Saturday, March 26, 2011 in her home.

She was a retired after 34 years from Prince Drug Store, a member of the Northside Church of Christ in Greenwood and Sparks Hospital Guild.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Shook, Jr., her mother and father, Reverend Clifford and Verda Vaughan, a brother, Dave Vaughan and a sister, Christine Vaughan.

Joyce was retired from Prince Drug Store where she made lifelong friends with her co-workers and customers. Joyce was a wonderful mom, mother-in-law, wife, sister and friend. Granny was her favorite name.

Funeral service wa 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial in Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Roberson of the home, one son Darrell Shook and his wife Rhonda of Van Buren; two grandchildren, Travis Shook and his wife Summer of Van Buren and Betsy Dennis of Van Buren; four great-grandsons, Braxton and Baylor Shook, Luke and Kade Dennis all of Van Buren; two sisters, Shirley Johns of Van Buren and Carolyn Corbell of Liberty, OK; three brothers, Loyd Vaughan and Roger Vaughan both of Liberty, OK and Jerl Vaughan of Fort Smith.

Pallbearers were Ed Valley, John Sagely, Jimmy Gunn, Harold Beck, Dalton and Brent Griffis, George Corbell and Mark Sterling.
