Dorothy Rawlings Douglas died April 1, 2013, in Denver.
Born in 1922 in New York, she married Ralph Rawlings in 1944 and moved to Arkansas in 1946. They raised four children in Fort Smith and were active in youth and church activities in the community. They belonged to First United Methodist Church.

Ralph died in 1975. She was married to Daniel Douglas from 1982 until his death in 1996.

Dorothy is survived by four children, Patti, Mary Lou, Ralph and David; two daughters-in-law, Jamie and Kristen; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

An informal graveside service will be held at Roselawn Cemetery on Tuesday at 11 a.m. There will be a casual visitation at Edwards Funeral Home on Monday from 5:30-7 p.m.
Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
