Wallace Nolen, 81, of Fort Smith, died January 16, 2011. He was born October 28, 1929 in Tucson, AZ to Hilary and Nell Vern Honea Nolen.

He was retired from the Oil Field Industry, he was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and he was a member of Gideon's International.

He is survived by one daughter, Robyn Marie Tate and husband Steve of Fort Smith; three sons, Danny Nolen of Fort Smith, Timothy Nolen of Olathe, KS., and Richard Nolen of Mobile, AL; three sisters, Lois McGuire of Rome, GA., Betty McCarty of Conway, AR., and Jo Beth Wright of Fort Smith; one brother, Boyce Nolen of Tampa, FL; and nine grandchildren, Chase Nolen, Parker and Hilary Nolen, Christian & Bethany Tate, and Jake & Cole Stufflebeam all of Fort Smith and Syndey & Hayden Nolen of Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his wife Julia Marie Sutton Nolen.

Funeral service were Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the First Church of the Nazarene in Fort Smith with burial in the Roselawn Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were his grandsons and nephews.

Julia M. Nolen, 81, of Fort Smith, died January 28, 2010 in Fort Smith.

She was a Homemaker, a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, the Sparks Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, and the Gideon's International.

She is survived by her husband Wallace of the Home; one daughter, Robyn Marie Tate and husband Steve of Fort Smith; three sons, Danny Nolen of Fort Smith, Tim Nolen of Olathe, KS, and Richard Nolen of Mobile, AL; one brother, Dennis Sutton of Hope, AR; and nine grandchildren, Chase, Parker, Hilary, Sydney, and Hayden Nolen, Christian and Bethany Tate, and Jake and Cole Stuflebeam.

Funeral service were Monday, February 1, 2010 at the First Church of the Nazarene with burial in Roselawn Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were her grandsons.
