February 22, 1904 - June 6, 1968
Mrs. Lula M. Wilson of Hampton died Thursday night in a Mineola, Tex. hospital. She was a member of the Hampton Church of Christ and a lifelong resident of the Hampton area. She was the daughter of the late Ira C. and Anna Biggers Strickland. Survivors include her husband George Wilson of Hampton; a son, Herbert E, Drummond of Hampton, a daughter, Mrs. Carter W. McCorkle of Mineola; two sisters, Mrs. Joe M. Goodwin of North Little Rock and Mrs. Thomas C. Wilkerson of El Dorado, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. (El Dorado Times - June 7, 1968)
