Robert A. "Bob" Mitchell Jr., 69, of Barling, AR. entered into rest on Saturday, November 6, 2010 in Barling, AR.
He was born June 12, 1941 in Mulberry, AR. to his parents Robert and Ruby Mitchell Sr.
He was the widower of the late Wanda Jean Mitchell.
He was a an employee of Bekaret Corp, a carpenter, loved camping and fishing and had a strong faith in Jesus Christ.
He is survived by two daughters LaWanda Jones and husband Carl of Magnolia, AR. and Melinda Young and husband Wes of Fort Smith, AR., one son, Kenneth Mitchell and wife Pamelia of Greenwood, AR., one sister Brenda Little of Fort Smith, AR., four brothers Albert Mitchell of Springfield, MO, Tommy Mitchell of Rudy, AR., Jimmy Mitchell of Alma, AR. and Gary Mitchell of Oklahoma, seven grandchildren Rachel, Kyle, Kaylee, Cameron, Daniel, Emily, and Mindy. and two great grandchildren Adalie and Aayillah. He is survived by his sister in Christ Janice Mitchell.
Funeral service was at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR. with interment at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Mitchell, Carl Jones, Wes Young, Stephen Dickson,, Kyle Jones, Mike Harwell, Cameron Young and Daniel Young.
