MRS. W.E. BRITT DIED HERE LATE YESTERDAY
Mrs. Maggie Clark Britt, wife of W.E. Britt, died at her home here late yesterday, and her funeral is being held at 2 o’clock this afternoon at the Bentonville Baptist Church. Besides her husband she is survived by three small children, by her mother and by five brothers and three sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICE THURSDAY FOR MRS. W.E. BRITT
Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Clark Britt, aged 39, wife of W.E. Britt of Bentonville, who died at the family home Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 1st, 1936, following a year’s illness, were held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the Bentonville Baptist Church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. LeRoy Tedford, with hymns by the church choir.
Burial was in the Bentonville cemetery with funeral arrangements in charge of the Burns Funeral Home of Bentonville. Pallbearers were Wallace A. Clark, Elmer Roland, Clarence Roland, A. Anthony, Cloe Presley, and Everett Russell.
Mrs. Britt was born at Park Hill, Okla., on March 26th, 1897, and was a daughter of J.T. and Mrs. Mary Scott Clark. She had lived in Arkansas for a number of years and in Benton County in the vicinity of Bentonville for 12 years. She and her family moved to Bentonville two weeks before her death.
She was a member of the Bentonville Baptist Church.
Besides her husband, W.E. Britt, she is survived by a daughter, Miss Anna Lee Britt, and by three small sons, William J., James, and Thomas. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. J.T. Clark of Tahlequah, Okla.; five brothers, Jess, Lee and Frank Clark of Tahlequah, and Clarence and Ed Clark of McAlester; and by three sisters, Mrs. Mary Woodard of Alvarado, Texas, Mrs. Jennie Laffoon of Robbins, Okla., and Miss Viola Clark of Tahlequah.
