Mrs. Beatrice Marine Cate, wife of Carroll Cate, died at her home in the east part of Springdale early Tuesday morning following a long illness.
Mrs. Cate was born Feb. 24, 1918, at Lowell, Ark., and had been a resident of Lowell and Springdale all her life. She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Carol Lea Cate; a son by a former marriage, Jimmy Jenson; a daughter by a former marriage, Janice Jenson; her mother, Mrs. Anna Eden; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Irick, Valley Falls, Kan., and four brothers, Willie Eden, Lowell, Dee Eden, Springdale, Ernest Eden, Springdale, and Leroy Eden, Columbus, Ga.
Callison-Sisco funeral home in charge of arrangements. Funeral arrangements are incomplete but burial will be made at Hickory Creek.
