Jim Hall, 78, of Magnolia, AR died Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, TX.
Jim was born October 2, 1938 and was preceded in death by his parents Don and Carolyn (Gore) Hall; first wife Lou Anna (O'Dell) Hall; brothers Ray Hall and Jon Hall; and mother and father in law Henry and Laura Hall.
He was a field supervisor and retired from Great Lakes Chemical in El Dorado. He was a member of the Antioch East Baptist Church where he served as an assistant Sunday school teacher. He was past President of the Men's Brotherhood and a member of the Andy's men's coffee group.
Jim is survived by his wife of 19 years Brenda Hall of Magnolia; step children Clint Norment and wife Margarita of Magnolia and their children Kelsi and Alissa, Mandy Payne and husband Greg of Magnolia and their children Riley and Reagan; siblings Bob Hall and wife Jane of El Dorado, Nan Watson of Stamps, Helen Wyrick and husband Roger of Hot Springs; four nephews; four nieces; sister in law Delinda Smith and husband Charles of Keller, TX.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, August 24 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Funeral services will be Friday, August 25 at 10:30 a.m. at the Antioch East Baptist Church with Bro. Ron Owen officiating. Burial will follow at the Antioch East Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Roger Hudgens, Mike Mooney, Ronnie Collier, Gavin Morgan, James Williams, and Jerry Stinnett. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Andy's men's coffee group.
The family requests memorials be made to the Antioch East Baptist Church, 370 Columbia 25, Magnolia, AR 71753 or Antioch East Cemetery Association, 1070 Columbia 295, Magnolia, AR 71753.
