Brenda Jean Fitting, 58, passed away January 20, 2010. She was born January 17, 1952 in Fort Smith, to Earl T. and Marjorie Galloway Phillips.
Brenda was a teacher for 20 years at Hobson Pre-school and Kindergarten, and was a member of First Baptist Church where she was children's choir coordinator, was a member of the adult choir, and also was a piano teacher.
She is survived by her husband; Charles Robert Fitting, 2 sons; Jonathan Robert Fitting and his wife Kelley, of Arlington, TX, and David Aaron Fitting of Fort Smith, Her Mother; Marjorie Phillips of Fort Smith, 2 sisters; Joyce Gray of Bella Vista, AR and Patsy Tuer of Mountain Home, TX, 1 brother; Earl Lynn Phillips of Franklin N.C., and 1 grandson; Hunter Robert Fitting of Arlington, TX.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Phillips.
Funeral Service was Monday, January 25, 2010, at First Baptist Church with burial at Roselawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were: Dr. Tom Cheyne, Bill McCorkle, Mike Carroll, Phil Allen, Roy Myers, Bill George, Wayne King, and Charlie Wilkins.
