Ernest Wayne Fitzgerald, 75, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013 in a local hospital.
He was born in Downingtown, PA to Ernest Smidley and Ethel Mae (Vincent) Adams Fitzgerald.
He was a farm worker, a protestant and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Funeral services are 1:00PM Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow with full military honors in Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ruby of the home; three daughters, Kathy Wright of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Judy Allen of Casa, Arkansas and Peggy Bowen of Russellville, Arkansas; one son, Larry Fitzgerald of Danville, Arkansas; two sisters, Ida Mae Hamilton of Clarksville, Arkansas and Ruth Fitzgerald of Porterville, California; one brother, Bill Fitzgerald of Clarksville, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Ruby Dean Fitzgerald, 81, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021.
She was born on January 12, 1939 in Casa, Arkansas to Tom and Rina (Green) Clark.
She was a housekeeper in various nursing homes and was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Fitzgerald.
Funeral services are 1:00PM. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith with burial to follow in Roselawn Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Maciulitis and her husband Edward of Fort Smith, Judy Allen and her husband Jerry of Casa, AR and Peggy Bowen of Russellville, AR; a son, Larry Fitsgerald of Ola, AR; a brother, Charles Clark of Plainview, AR; 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
