Ruth Estes Danner, 94, of Fort Smith died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, in Midland. She was a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a master's degree and was a teacher-principal in the Fort Smith schools from 1926 to 1971. She was a member of the University of Arkansas Alumni Association, Arkansas Retired Teachers' Association, Arkansas Education Association and was a member of the Sparks Hospital Board. She was the widow of John M. Danner. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Hartman of Midland; one son, John Danner of Montgomery, Ala.; three grandchildren, John and Rick Hartman and Dee Hartman Stokes, all of Midland; and two great-grandchildren.
