Becky "Sissy" Henry, age 66, of Crossett, AR, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR. She was born on May 29, 1947 in El Dorado, AR to her parents, Monroe and Ruby Murphy Shairrick. Mrs. Henry worked as a cook at the Shairrick Country Store and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hamburg. She enjoyed flowers, fishing, campfires and spending time with her niece, Harley Hein. She was preceded in death by her father and a nephew, Rick Shairrick.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Bobby Henry, whom she married on June 8, 1968; her mother, Ruby Murphy Shairrick; one daughter, Robbin Sharp (Lonnie "Fred") all of Crossett, AR; four brothers, Larry Shairrick of Camden, Don R. Shairrick (Sherma) of Benton, AR, Brent Shairrick (Jan) of Crossett, AR, Joe Shairrick (Debbie) of Hamburg, AR; one sister, Rhonda Hein of Crossett, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 10, 2013 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Berlin Road in Hamburg with Bro. Danny Merriweather and Bro. Warren Finney officiating. Interment will follow at Green Grove Cemetery in Union County, AR. (www.jonesservice.com)
Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
