Mamie M. King was born 26 May 1900 in Charleston, Franklin, Arkansas. She was 4th of the 8 children born to John Henry King and Martha Mattie Robertson King. Siblings: William Isaac King (1894), Claud Melvin King (1896), Bertha T King (1897), Clarence Alvin King (1902), John Henry King (1904), Lawrence Edward King (1906), Clara R King (1910). She was married to Claude M. Craig and they were the parents of William, Doris, Elize, Lucille, Leroy and Hugh. She passed away on 24 July 1986 in Fort Smith, Sebastian, Arkansas.
