Kathryn Coats, 75, of Fort Smith, passed away April 7, 2010. She was born August 2, 1934 in Lake City, AR to Henry and Mable Wallace.
She was a member of The Central Presbyterian Church, where she an Elder and also sang in the choir.
She is survived by 1 daughter; Lynn Carmack and her husband John, of Siloam Springs, AR, 2 sons; Wesley Coats and wife Phyllis, of Fort Smith, AR and Ernie Coats of Fayetteville, AR, 7 grandchildren; Kristen Carmack Smith of Fayetteville, AR, Melissa Carmack McMahan and husband Jason, of Siloam Springs, AR, Amy Carmack Hill and husband Nathan, of Fayetteville, AR, Austin Coats of Fort Smith, AR, Nick Coats of Fort Smith, AR, Kendall and Jackson Coats of Fayetteville, AR, 3 Great-grandchildren, Gabe Coats, Lincoln and Noah McMahan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J Coats, and her sister, Jean Bowers.
Memorial service was Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Tom Ulrich officiating. Pivate family burial was at Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Nicholas, Austin, Mike, and Craig Coats, Jason McMahan, and Nathan Hill.
