Iola Marionette Blanca, 84, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, in Van Buren. She was a retired office employee of Sparks Regional Medical Center, a member of the American Association of Retired Persons, the Fort Smith Business and Professional Women's Club, Goddard United Methodist Church and the Harvester Sunday school class. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Roselawn cemetery in Fort Smith. She is survived by her husband, Casimiro Blanca of Fort Smith; a daughter, Marlene Dianne Penfield of Del Mar, Calif.; two sons, Melvern Lynn Finke and Marlin Dee Finke, both of Lincoln, Neb.; a brother, Vern Jacobsmeir of Lincoln, Neb.; three grandchildren, Nicole Schultz, Jessica and Christina Penfield; three stepgrandchild and one stepgreat-grandchild.
