Delno R. Brisco Jr., 65, of Fort smith died Saturday, July 15, 1989, in a local hospital. He was retired from the Army, a veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War, a member of Jenny Lind Baptist Church, a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 1111 in El Paso, Texas, a member of Victory Lodge No. 470 in Barling, a charter member of the Retired Military Association, a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of the American Legion, Ellig Stouffer Post No. 31.

Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Putman Funeral Home Chapel with a full military graveside service at Rose Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

He is surived by his wife, Audrey Lee (Belue) Brisco; one sister, Wilma Beatrice (Brisco) Hull of Fort Smith; an uncle Willie B. Robertson of Fort Smith and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be the Army honor guard.

Delno R. Brisco Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Delno Rosengrant Brisco Sr. and Josephine (Robertson) Brisco; his paternal grandparents, Robert Wilson Brisco and Elizabeth H.(Erasmus) Brisco; his paternal uncles, Robert "Vester" Brisco and Paul Raymond Brisco; his paternal aunts, Pearl Marie (Brisco) Lenington, Rosetta "Rosie" Ellen Brisco, and Viola Melinda Brisco.

He is also survived by his paternal aunt, Inez E. (Brisco) Potts.

According to a family Bible, Audrey and Delno were married on November 7, 1945.

Audrey Lee (Belue) Brisco, 72, of Fort Smith died Thursday, September 5, 1996, in a local nursing home. The widow of Delno Brisco Jr., she was an employee at the Fort Chaffee Post Exchange, former golf course administrator, a member of Jenny Lind First Baptist Chruch, American Legion Auxiliary and former member of Eastern Star.

Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. September 9, 1996, in Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Rose Lawn Memorial Park.

She is survived by a sister, Hazel Evans of Fort Smith; a brother, Argus Belue of Fort Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Harold Belue, Bobby Evans, Emmet and Mike Robinson, Charles Parks and Bobby Dye. (End of Obit)
