Thomas Joseph LaValley, age 86, of Jacksonville passed away August 23, 2007 at the V.A. Hospital in North Little Rock. He was born February 21, 1921 in Escnabe, Michigan to the late Joseph and Lucille Henry LaValley. Thomas had three children, Joseph LaValley, Patricia Larson and Kathleen Gudahy; a stepson, Vernon Ray Hall and his wife Patsy and several grandchildren.
Thomas has lived comfortably with Vernon and Patsy Hall for seven years. He was a retired salesman for a Wisconsin Meat Company. Tom also worked as a security guard at Club Products in Jacksonville. He was a very kind hearted and gentile man of the Catholic faith and will be greatly missed. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Little Rock V.A. Hospital and especially the V.A. in North Little Rock for all the wonderful services Tom received while in their care.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2007 at the chapel of Moores Jacksonville Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Sumner Cemetery off Hwy 89. Viewing will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
