Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Perdue Mason, 88, of West Monroe will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday May 6, 2011 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Michi Head officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Friday May 6, 2011 at Roselawn Cemetery in Junction City, Arkansas under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Mason was born on August 22, 1922 in Union, Arkansas and passed away on May 4, 2011 in West Monroe. She was a retired dorm mother at LSU.

Mrs. Mason is preceded in death by her husband Harry K. Mason; son, Michael Mason; brother, John Harvey Perdue; sister, Veda Jones; and granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Linxwiler.

Survivors include her children, Alice Kay Linxwiler of Baton Rouge, LA, Kathryn M. Hester of Houston, TX, Harold J. Mason of West Monroe, LA, Bill R. Mason of Brusly, LA; sister, Virginia McDonald of Junction City, LA; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Harold J. Mason, Jr., Gregory Hester, Michael Mason, Jeremy Mason, and Edward D. Young.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Friday May 6, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Memorials can be made to McGuire United Methodist Church, 2075 Arkansas Road, West Monroe, LA 71291.
