August 5, 1943 - October 17, 2019
Ruth Mae Andrews age 76, of El Dorado passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at her home. She was born August 5, 1943 in Benton, Arkansas to the late Vivian Berry Dean and Dillon Monroe Dean. Ruth was an avid member of the Red Hat Committee and loved to decorate with anything purple or red. Ruth loved to crochet and make beautiful blankets, hats, and scarfs, for her family and friends, and had a true talent of doing so. She will be truly missed, but never forgotten by the ones left behind.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life".
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Ira Joe "I.J." Chambers and her second husband, Ruel Milton "Andy" Andrews; and one sister, Helen Carlock.
Ruth is survived by one sister, Donna Crouse of Bauxite, AR along with numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, with Funeral services to follow at 3:00 pm with Bro. J.D. Weido officiating. Interment will be at Burns-Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
