HAYNES, Julia Ann Turner HORSLEY - Mrs. Julia Ann Turner Haynes died at Fayetteville Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Wilson. Mrs. Haynes had been sick all spring and her death was not unexpected. She was seventy-three years old. The body was brought to Rogers Friday morning and funeral services were held at the home of the brother of the deceased, W.B. Horsley. Services were conducted by Rev. Margeson of the M.E. church, South and the interment was in the family cemetery, just north of Mr. Horsley's. Her brother, N.S. Horsley, was buried there just a month or two ago. Mrs. Haynes was born in Breckenridge county, Kentucky in 1832. She had been a widow for nearly half a century, her husband having died in Bates county, Missouri in 1861. To them were born three children: one, a boy, died in Missouri and the other two are now living - Mrs. Geo. Wilson of Fayetteville and J.W. Haynes of this city. She came to Benton county with her father and brothers, the Horsleys, in 1867 and lived near here until the Wilsons moved to Fayetteville a number of years ago. A faithful Christian all her life she died in the realization of a long life well spent.
