Dewey Monroe Fuller, 50, of Norphlet died Friday morning in a local hospital after a long illness. Mr. Fuller was born Sept. 26, 1917, in Hot Springs. He was employed as a pumper for McFarlane Oil Co. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Norphlet. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Hazel Fuller, Norphlet, one daughter, Mrs. Buddy Henley, Norphlet, one brother, John Fuller, West Lake, La.; five sisters, Mrs. Maden Mentos, Mrs. Ada Orr, Mrs. Vi McGuire and Mrs. Lettie Adams, all of Hot Springs, and Mrs. Estelle Ross, Kansas City, Mo.; and two grandsons. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Norphlet with the Rev. Zane Chesser officiating, assisted by the Rev. James Ford. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery under the direction of Youngs. Pallbearers will be Cecil Smith, J. T. Carey, Arthur Ray, Francis Henley, David Henley and Clifton Alphin.
