Elizabeth "Bettie" (LaBrosse)Redmond of Fort Smith(Sebastian County), Arkansas, died Sunday, April 20, 2008 at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She was 90 years old. Ms. Redmond was a retired teacher and a member of Christ The King Catholic Church and a former member of the Spokes and Folks.
Ms. Redmond was preceded in death by her paretns; her husband: John Redmond; a son: Charles Redmond; and a grandson: James Welch.
She is survived by three daughters: Judith Ball of Scotts, Michigan, Mary Redmond of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Eileen Little of Van Buren, Arkansas; three sons: David Redmond of Battle Creek, Michigan, Francis Redmond of the Phillippines, and Thomas Redmond of Fort Smith, Arkansas; 24 wonderful grandchildren; 29 precious great-grandchildren; and 4 very special great-great-grandchildren.
Rosary service was held on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Christ the Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Christ The King Catholic Church. Father Tom Elliott precided.
