Mrs. Ann Sponaugle, 78, of Hamburg, died Thursday, October 20, 2011 at her residence in Hamburg. She was a native of Camden; a resident of Hamburg for the past 25 years and a former resident of Crossett, Hampton, Little Rock, Wynn, Smackover and Huntsville. She was a homemaker, a Church of Christ Minister's wife for 57 years and a member of the Hamburg Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by an infant daughter; her parents, J.D. & Elsie Word Reaves; two brothers, Lee Earl & Marvin Reaves and a son-in-law, Butch Barnes.

She is survived by her husband, Minister Joe Sponaugle; a son, Mark Sponaugle both of Hamburg; two daughters, Cynthia Barnes of El Dorado and Lori Rabb and husband, Rusty, of Monticello; three grandchildren, Leah Rabb and Dillon Rabb of Monticello and Christopher Barnes of Russellville and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2011 in the chapel of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home with Minister Joe Nichols officiating. Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery. Pallbearers are Joe Shairrick, Anthony Lowery, Billy Gammel, Tommy Pearson, Jerry Terrell and Harry Joe Tumlison. Memorials may be made to the Hamburg Church of Christ, 1109 N. Main Street, Hamburg. AR 71646.
