Mrs. Olvie Davis Scarbrough, 96, of Hamburg died Wednesday,
October 4, 2006, at the Beverly Health Care Center in Crossett.
A native of Van Buren County, a resident of Hamburg for the past
10 years and a former resident of Parkdale and Folkston, GA, she
was a homemaker and a Methodist.

She is survived by a son, Marvin Davis of Hamburg; four daughters,
Virginia Robertson of El Dorado, Lucille Greene of Crossett, Vivian
Ware of Hamburg and Margie Prescott of Folkston, GA; 19
grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 32 great-great-grandchildren
and one great-great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death
by her husbands, Lawrence Davis and David Scarbrough; two sons,
Raymond and Thurman Davis; a daughter, Ruby Wilkerson White;
two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; her parents, Henry Mac
& Adie Emaline Martin Wilson; five brothers and two sisters.

Grave-side services were at 11 a.m. Friday, October 6, in the
Hamburg Cemetery with Rev. Danny Merriweather officiating.
Honorary pallbearers were grandsons, Ray Davis, Paul Wilkerson,
Doug Ware, Roger Prescott, Malcom Robertson, Mike Greene and
Steve Ware. Funeral arrangements were by Jones-Hartshorn Funeral
