July 21, 1959 - September 21, 2016

Juanita Frachiseur McAdoo, 57, of El Dorado, passed away, Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born July 21, 1959, to Ken and Mary Broyles Frachiseur in Garden City, Kan.

Juanita loved her devoted husband, Floyd and her son, Michael and his wife Michaella. Becoming a grandmother to her grandson, Keagan and granddaughter, Kensleigh was one of her greatest joys. She was a proud grandmother and loved being able to spend time with them.

A fiercely loyal and dedicated daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Juanita loved with her whole heart and lit up a room with her presence. Her humor and intelligence coupled with her inner and outer beauty made people gravitate to her infectious laugh and kind personality.

Juanita worked for Southern Bancorp as vice president and loan officer. Her work ethic and compassion never wavered as she went above and beyond trying to help individuals buy a home. When others would say no, she would spend countless hours trying to find a way to say yes as she sought to help everyone. Even if the final answer was no, she would seek ways customers could help themselves so that they could come back later and she could approve their loan. Juanita made many friends at work. Customers and fellow employees loved Juanita and she loved them back as they became her extended family over the years. Juanita made many friends due to her compassionate and beautiful heart.

That loving heart extended to her great care for animals and nature. An avid photographer, Juanita frequently made her gardens and pets the subject of her portraits. It was through her art Juanita expressed herself as she battled cancer with dignity and courage. Throughout her fight, she remained resilient, optimistic and never complained. Even through her final moments, Juanita fought bravely with a positive outlook.

While Juanita will be missed immensely, her love lives on in those she touched. Her family and friends are comforted knowing she is in the arms of her Heavenly Father.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents and nephew, Brent Cottrell.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Floyd McAdoo of El Dorado; son, Michael E. McAdoo and his wife, Michaella of Redwood, N.Y.; parents, Ken and Mary Frachiseur of El Dorado; two grandchildren, Keagen McAdoo and Kensleigh McAdoo; three sisters, Donna Watkins and her husband, Larry, Elaine Nash and her husband, Bobby and Debbie Lewis, all of El Dorado; brother, Kenny Frachiseur and his wife, Kathey of Norphlet; mother-in-law, Hazel McAdoo Hale and her husband, David; two sisters-in-law, Darlene McAdoo Nash, Dodie McAdoo Argo and her husband, Mike; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Today at Young’s Funeral Directors.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, at Young’s Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Burkes officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Memorial may be made to the John R. Williamson Hospice House, 2301 Champagnolle Rd., El Dorado, AR 71730, or to the Union County Animal Protection Society, 1000 Sunset Rd., El Dorado, AR 71730.
