Pearlene Janette Hacker 88, of Pocahontas died February 22, 2023, at the Randolph County Nursing Home in Pocahontas.

Born November 9, 1934, in Walnut Ridge to William Jackson and Allie Meda Fry Manus. Pearlene loved researching Genealogy and worked as a Seamstress. She was also a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Pocahontas, she attended regularly and enjoyed singing and playing the piano.

She preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Billy Joe Hacker; her second husband, Marvin Pickney; one son, Billy David Hacker; one grandson, David Wayne Stanphill; two sisters, Edith Smith and Allie May Findley; and two brothers, Ed and William Manus.

Survivors include two daughters, W. Jan Vickers of Pocahontas, and Betty (Boyd) Wilkerson of Jonesboro; one son, Jackson “Jack” (Charlotte) Hacker of Palm Coast, FL; twelve grandchildren, Michael Wilkerson, Billy Hacker, Steven Wilkerson, Sondra Stanphill, Brady Hacker, Ashley Marchetti, Amanda Hacker, Rod Pickney, Stephanie Bills, Libby Utley, Blake Pickney, and Julie Ballard; ten great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; three stepsons, Merwin (Dorothy) Pickney, Don (Olene) Pickney, and Dave (Natalie) Pickney; and many other relatives and friends,

Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the First Assembly of God Church in Pocahontas with Bro. Terry Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Steven Wilkerson, Blake Pickney, Danny Ward, Rick Prater, Eric Prater, and Merwin Pickney. Interment will follow in the Old Lebanon Cemetery near Lynn.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 PM in the Bryan Chapel in Hoxie and from 10 A.M. till 11 A.M. Saturday morning at the church in Pocahontas.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude.org
