*Obituary

Karen Sue Garrison, 55, of Greenbrier, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 9, 2011.
She was born Oct. 11, 1956, in Keiser, Ark., to Mary Sue and Billy Victory.
Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Sue Victory; one brother, Danny Victory; and a niece, Jayme Victory Long.
She grew up helping take care of her family, all of which she loved very much. She married Carl Garrison on July 15, 1978, and a few years later moved to Greenbrier, where they built the home she would live in the rest of her life. She was a mom and best friend to her only child, Whitney. The love, affection, and care she had for her husband and daughter were made known to everyone she was in contact with. They were her proudest accomplishments. Her love for children started at an early age. That was evident by the joy and smiles on her face while working at Ding Dong Campus in the baby and toddler rooms, in VBS and Children's Church at Bethlehem Baptist Church, and while spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was so happy to be called "Aunt Karen." She was more than just "Aunt Karen" to Brent, Brandon, Jonathan and Alli. Karen was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Greenbrier. She enjoyed cooking and baking. One of her favorite things to do was to look out the front door and watch the hummingbirds during the spring and summer. Christmas was her favorite time of the year. Her trees and decorations were some of the prettiest seen.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Carl Garrison of Greenbrier; father, Billy Victory of Luxora; one daughter, Whitney Garrison of Maumelle and her fiance Todd Eason of Conway; six brothers, Billy Victory (Brenda) of Morrilton, Ronnie Victory (Cheryl) of Luxora, Donnie Victory (Angela) of Keiser, Sam Victory (Amy) of Payneway, Randy Victory (Missy) of Keiser and Pete Victory of Luxora; three sisters, Debbie Houseseal (Chuck) of Memphis, Tenn., Nell Oatsvall (Winston) and Lynn Thrasher (Junior), both of Luxora; sisters-in-law, Gale Garrison of Greenbrier and Melissa Victory of Trumann; and numerous nieces and nephews; and best friends, Janetta Duran, and Sue and Julie Johnson of Greenbrier.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Greenbrier, with Bro. Martin Jameson and Bro. Danny Fagala officiating.
Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Greenbrier.
Serving as pallbearers will be Karen's brothers, Billy Victory, Ronnie Victory, Donnie Victory, Sam Victory, Randy Victory and Pete Victory.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Greenbrier, 501-679-2575.
