Barbara Faye Jeffers, 60, of Hamburg, died Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett. Mrs. Jeffers was a native of Snyder and life long resident of Snyder and Hamburg. She worked for the Hamburg School District and she attended the Cloverdale Assembly of God Church. She loved her family and her life was her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, L.V. “Bo” and Marceline Hopkins Williamson; a brother, Buddy Williamson and two sisters, Patricia Hale and Wanda Purvis.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jerry W. Jeffers; a son, Jared Jeffers both of Hamburg; a daughter, Christy Lynn Murphy and husband, Wes, of McGehee; a brother, Don Williamson of Hamburg; four grandchildren, Jack Murphy, Joseph Murphy, Patrick Baker and Emily Baker and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Grant officiating. Burial will be in the Flat Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jay Grice, Michael Grice, Mickey Hale, Billy Bart Willis, Kevin Martin and Britt Jeffers.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
