November 11, 1898 - August 10, 1977
Mrs. Mary Janie Strickland, 78, of Smackover, died Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at Camden Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Friday with burial in the Crossroads Cemetery. She is survived by one son, James F. Strickland of Smackover; one daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Weaver of Luling, La.; three brothers, Lee Weeks of Oklahoma, Curtis Weeks of Nevada and Sam Weeks of Missouri; one sister, Mrs. Georgia Payne of Berryville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
