Marlene Doss Oliver, 90, of Reyno, Arkansas died Wednesday, January
5, 2022, at her daughter’s residence in Reyno. Mrs. Oliver was a native of Possum Valley, a resident of Reyno for the past three years and was a former resident of Crossett since 1983. She was a 1949 graduate of Fountain Hill High School and a member of Fountain Hill First Baptist Church. She was the Office Manager for Dr. Herbert Allen’s office in Ruston, Louisiana for several years. Mrs. Oliver enjoyed flowers, going out to eat with friends, doing yard work and going camping with her husband.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Charles Hugo
Oliver in 2004; her parents, Jarrett J. and Hattie Harrison Doss and
three brothers, V.G. Doss, Merrell “Doc” Doss and L.L. “Shuddie” Doss.
She is survived by a son, Danny Oliver and wife, Peggy, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; a daughter, Vicki Edington and husband, Danny, of Reyno; four granddaughters, Amy Francis and husband, Jamie, Kelly Macaulay and husband, Douglas, Abbi Seehaver and husband, Brian, and Rebecca Taylor and husband, Hollis; three great-grandchildren, Brittany Luttrell, Clara Luttrell and Blake Edington; a step-great-granddaughter, Gretchen Seehaver and a step-great-grandson, Brock Seehaver.
Graveside services are 2 p.m., Sunday, January 9, 2022 in Flat Creek
Cemetery with Wayne Moffatt officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Brian Seehaver, Jamie Francis, Blake Edington, Michael Fred Oliver, Curtis Doss and Hollis Taylor. Memorials may be made to the Flat Creek
Cemetery Association, PO Box 256, Fountain Hill, AR 71642.
