Bernice Eloise Quattlebaum, 100, of Conway, Arkansas, was born March 12, 1922, in McRae, Arkansas to William and Dorothy Tedford and she passed away on February 1, 2023.
Bernice married Dillon Quattlebaum on December 20, 1939, in Searcy, Arkansas, and they were married 69 years. Dillon and Bernice moved to Lancaster, California, in1950 where they lived for 27 years, raising their three sons. They returned to Arkansas in 1977 and resided in Conway.
Bernice was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church, Conway, Arkansas. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved reading, sewing, and watching the Dodgers and the Razorbacks. She was always striving to serve the Lord and others.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Dillon Quattlebaum. She is survived by her three sons, Eddie Quattlebaum of El Paso, Arkansas, Jerry Quattlebaum and wife, Nora of El Paso, Arkansas, and Philip Quattlebaum and wife, Alba of Huntsville, Alabama; sister, LaDell Howell of Arizona; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
There will be a 1:00pm, graveside service on Monday, February 6, 2023, at Blasingame Cemetery in El Paso, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Robert Jenkins, Matthew Jenkins, Michael Shepard, and Joshua Quattlebaum.

Also survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie & Helen Quattlebaum, Flagstaff, Jerry & Nora Quattlebaum, El Paso, and Phillip & Alba Quattlebaum, both of Auburn, AL; brother and sister-in-law, Willie Drew & Wanda Quattlebaum, Romance; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Quattlebaum and his wife are member of the Central Baptist Church in Conway. Mr. Quattlebaum was a volunteer at the church sponsored food bank.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James W. Quattlebaum & Nettie Johnson Quattlebaum, a brother Drexel Quattlebaum, and an infant brother.
Graveside services were conducted on Friday, March 28, 2009.
