Merle Dean Inzer, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed from this life into the next on March 18, 2012, at Pine Hills Nursing home. Widow of Whittie Inzer and daughter of the late Mittie and Charles Dean, she was predeceased by son, Ronald Inzer; grandson, Alan Inzer; one sister; and three brothers.
She is survived by daughters, Dianne (Dan) Jones of Camden, and Lisa (Jerry) Coleman of Marion. Her loved ones will always cherish the memories of her devoted and deep love, her style and elegance, her comforting words, her understanding presence, and her beautiful smile. Although dementia robbed her of some of her faculties, her loving and warm personality and smile remained intact until the end. Her love of art, music, theatre, and education are reflected in her grandchildren, who were enriched by having known her: Rhonda (Marc) Piccolo of Eglin AFB, FL; Bethany Jones of Cincinnati, OH; Craig (Jennifer) Jones of Hot Springs; Grant Coleman and Austin Coleman of Memphis, TN; Lance Coleman of Conway; and Hailey Coleman of Marion. She is also survived by daughter-in-law, Barbara Inzer; two great-grandchildren; friends, other relatives, and her caregivers at Pine Hills.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM Tuesday at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Bethesda Cemetery. Buddy Ratliff will officiate the services. Visitation will be Monday 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the funeral home.
