Georgia Ann Harvill, 85, of Camden died Friday, June 20, 2014 in Camden. She was a member of Cullendale First Baptist Church where she served as secretary for 25 years. She was a teacher in the Fairview Public Schools for 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Thelma Deaton Amis, her husband, Curtis Goza, her son, Lt. Colonel James T. Harvill, Jr., brother Joe Amis and special friend Marian Nelson. She is survived by her husband, J. T. Harvill of Camden, three daughters, Jan Goza Fletchinger and husband Charlie of Camden, Mary Catherine Buie and husband George of Rison, AR and Annette Maxwell and husband Randy of Stone Mountain, Georgia, and a brother, Paul Amis and wife Margaret of Jacksonville, AR. Mrs. Harvill is also survived by seven grandchildren, Matt Buie of Little Rock, AR, Lydia Buie of Little Rock, AR, Sarah Buie of Rison, Olivia Waldrop of Fairhope AL, Valerie Harvill of Oregon, Charles Fletchinger III of Camden and Teresa Fletchinger of Fresno, CA.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden with burial in Bethesda Cemetery. Rev. Hugh Nelson will officiate the service. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
