*When Arley Ross Clarence Murphy was born on January 27, 1891, in Wilburn, Arkansas, his father, James, was 32 and his mother, Love, was 28. He was married three times and had three sons and one daughter. He died on May 31, 1970, in Pangburn, Arkansas, at the age of 79, and was buried there.
