Linda King, 74, of Pangburn, passed away May 2, 2020 at Unity Health in Searcy. She was born April 16, 1946 at Mountain Home to the late Wilburn and Lorraine Pyeatt English.
Mrs. King attended Cotter, Arkansas Public School and was a member of Pangburn Assembly of God. She was dearly loved by all her family and loved spending time with them. She looked forward to shopping trips, weekend get-a-ways, vacations, and taking cruises with her daughters where she was known to get up and dance with the waiters in the dining room. Before her health failed, she sewed, camped, hunted deer, put out a garden, and canned. She retired from Land O’Frost after 35 years and enjoyed riding along with her son in his police and game warden career. She was a fabulous cook; her family favorites were her chicken and dressing, chocolate cream pie, and poke salad.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Eberle.
She married Shirrell King December 10, 1963 at Pangburn; he survives. She is also survived by two daughters, Tina Gee of Searcy, and Gina Duke (Kevin) of Bald Knob; two sons, Tony King (Tiffney) of Pangburn and Robby King (Stacy) of Searcy; eight grandchildren, Brandon Cook (Courtney), Aaron Cook (Leah), Natasha Ridings, Kyle Ridings (Amy), Casey Cole (Tom), Justin King (Kristin), Tyler Ashcraft (Jill), and Jacy Ashcraft; fourteen great grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Bentley (Mary); four sisters, Barbara Terry (Hal), Betty Mullins (Bill), Brenda Love, Missy Morris (Greg); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A family visitation will be Thursday at Sullivan Funeral Care with graveside services at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn.

Shirrell Walter King, 77 of Pangburn passed away at Unity Health on November 11, 2021. He was born in Pangburn to the late Lewis Edward and Blanche Lee Ruth Smith King on January 18, 1944.

He is preceded in death by his parents and the love of his life Linda English King who passed away on May 20, 2020. Shirrell is survived by two daughters, Tina Gee of Searcy, Gina (Kevin) Duke of Bald Knob; two sons, Tony (Tiffney) King of Pangburn and Robby (Stacy) King of Searcy; eight grandchildren, Natasha (Ben Smith) Ridings, Kyle (Amy) Ridings , Tyler (Jill) Ashcraft, Jacy Ashcraft, Brandon (Courtney) Cook, Aaron (Leah) Cook, Casey (Tom) Cole and Justin (Kristine)King; fifteen great-grandchildren and one coming soon; one brother, Allen (Lynn) King; two sisters, Margaret Mercer and LaDonna Sturch along with numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family and many friends.

Mr. King graduated from Pangburn High School and was a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed his work and took great pride in it and he was called many times for to build a house for someone. His favorite past time was hunting and fishing and he loved to do it with his family. Shirrell not only loved for his family to be with him, but he really loved it when his extended family would come with them. He was well known for his dogs and loved showing them and being in Field Trials with them. The number one thing in his life above all was his family. Shirrell and Linda married on December 10, 1963 and enjoyed every minute of life together. They taught their family what it was like and how important it was to be a family and was known to be a good Christian husband and father. He was part of the West Pangburn Community Church where he was baptized.

Visitation will be held at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, November 14 at 12:30 2:00PM with Graveside Service to follow at 2:30PM at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn.
