John Frank Berry, 86, of Bay died Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Craighead Nursing Center in Jonesboro.
He was born in Hohenwald, Tenn., had lived in Bay for the past six years and was formerly of Pangburn.
He was a retired road construction supervisor and veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. Mr. Berry enjoyed gardening and was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church in Trumann.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Faye Bradley Berry; one son, Kelly Berry; one daughter, Wanda Berry; six sisters; three brothers; and his parents, Lee and Pearl McNabb Berry.
Survivors include one son, Ronnie Berry of Bay; two brothers, Jay Berry of Bentonville and Herbert Berry of Richmond, Va.; one sister, Audre Hipple of Decatur; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Burial was private in Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn with Thompson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were: Ronnie Berry, Jerome Clairday, Jeff Heims, Roy Davidson, Ronald Davidson and Gregg Hipple.
