Rogers — Maynard Leroy Cummings, 72, of Lowell, died Saturday in a Springdale nursing home. Born June 9, 1898 in Illinois, he was a retired farmer.

Survivors are two sons, Clifton of Los Angeles and Clyde of Memphis, Tenn.; four daughters, Mrs. Lois Huckaby of Lowell, Mrs. Ruth Thompson of Huntsville, Mrs. Blanch Kirk and Mrs. Virginia Metcalf of Rogers: 21 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Burns Funeral Chapel with burial in War Eagle Cemetery.

Rogers — Mrs. Odessa Chambers Cummings, 60, died yesterday in the Rogers hospital. She was born in the Pleasant Ridge Community Aug. 29, 1904. She was a lifelong Benton County resident and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Clifton Curtis Cummings and Clyde C. Cummings both of Rogers; four daughters, Mrs. Elgene Huckaby of Lowell, Mrs. Ruth Nelson and Mrs. Virginia Metcalf both of Rogers and Mrs. Blanche Kirk of Oroville, Calif.; two brothers, Steve Chambers of Tuscarara, Nev. and Oscar Chambers of Bradford; three sisters, Mrs. Ona Shaffer of Judsonia, Mrs. Ottamae Honey at Tuscon, Ariz. and Mrs. Josephine Ring of Van Buren, Mo.; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Burns Chapel; burial in War Eagle Cemetery.
