January 3, 1931 - September 3, 2007
Louis Casey, 76, a resident of Russellville, died Monday, September 3, 2007, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.
He was born January 3, 1931, at Witts Springs, Arkansas to Charlie Lee and Lizzie Melissa Boyd Casey. He retired from the Coleman Company in Wichita, Kansas after 43 years and was a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed helping people and mowing lawns for people. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Flossie Kuykendall and Bessie Rickel; two brothers, Leo and Vermon Casey; and a great grandson, Cory Allen.
Survivors include his wife of almost 57 years, Floy L. Casey of Russellville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert Louis Casey of Dover and Jimmie Dean and Sharon Casey of Arcadia, Kansas; a daughter, Theresa Nye of Russellville; a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Lynn Casey of Atkins; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Jewel and A. C. Adney of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Lessie Laymon of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren; and 27 great grand children.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2007, at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church at Center Valley with Pastor Lynn Harris and Bro. Chuck Roach officiating. Burial will be in McFadden Cemetery at Dover under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
Floy
April 3, 1930 - July 24, 2017
Floy Casey, age 87, of Lockhart, Texas, recently of Russellville, died Monday, July 24, 2017, at home. She was born to Floyd Houston and Annie Summers Ketcherside in South New Hope on April 3, 1930.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Casey.
Survivors include a son, Robert Louis Casey, of Russellville; three grandchildren, Albert Louis Casey and wife, Krystal of Lockhart, Texas, Aileen Heil of Russellville, and Scotty Casey of Russellville.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at the Shinn Chapel. Burial will be in McFadden Cemetery and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
