Nadine Hayden Watkins, age 78 of Conway, died Saturday at Conway. She was born April 22, 1926 at Peach Orchard, Arkansas to Lee Sexton and Francis (Cordle) Sexton. She was a housewife and had a love of flowers. She had a green thumb and could make most any plant thrive. She is survived by Robin Bufford, daughter of Conway; Gloria Fisher, daughter of Searcy; Donald Strain, son of Germany; Richard Sexton, brother of Pangburn; Jimmy Ellis, brother of Pangburn; Benny Weatherford, brother of Judsonia; Imogene Ellis, sister of Pangburn; Joann Caldwell, sister of Pangburn; Pauline Pearce, sister of Centralia, Illinois; Pat Imbierowicz, sister of O'Fallon, Missouri; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Watkins; parents, Lee and Francis Sexton; one sister; and two brothers. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 pm at McJester Baptist Church with interment to follow at Leggett Cemetery.
